1. Isn’t buying a “name brand” system assuring me a higher quality system? Answer: That maxim applies to almost everything EXCEPT your computer purchase. Computers manufacturered by HP; Gateway; Compaq; etc., are built with economy in mind for THEM. In other words they aren’t looking out for you, they are looking out for themselves putting out mass produced, poor quality components that result in unreliable, poorly performing systems that you won’t likely be happy with. We have customers quite frequently who take their $299, $499 systems BACK to the “big box” stores and come and buy their units from us, because they know that our units are built for QUALITY AND RELIABILITY. The “Big boys” accept ahead of time that up to 25% of their units will fail and they build that in to their business model. When I-source Computers builds your computer – if it fails (if even ONE computer fails) we have lost money and disappointed a valuable customer. So we pick higher quality parts, and make sure when you take your computer home that it will be the best unit we can offer you for the price you pay. 2. If you buy a name brand computer – and EVER need to call technical support – CAN YOU SPEAK FARSI? Because you will be calling a tech support person in a third world country who has very unlikely ever laid eyes on a computer, much less own one themselves. They are simply trained to sit beside the phone with a “drill down” help manual to walk you through your problem (after hours on terminal hold – and not being able to understand their dialect anyway). Thank you NAFTA and thank you Corporate America for taking jobs away from honest hardworking Americans. On the other hand, if you have a problem with your computer that you buy from us – you will call us LOCALLY, and talk to the very person who sold you the computer, and that person will be the one solving your problem. You won’t have to ship it off for several weeks, and lose all your data, you will simply bring the computer to us, and within our normal turn around time (3 – 5 working days if not sooner) we will have you up and running. What makes better sense to you? Like the old saying – YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! (The only down side to doing business with “WHITE BOX BUILDERS” as we are referred to in the industry, is that companies like ours tend to go out of business often. Well as for us we have been here since 1996. We own and operate our business and are opening new stores across the area. We own our properties and are here to stay with a proven record of trustworthiness in the community. 3. If you buy your computer from I-Source are we going to be nice to you and not treat you like an idiot? One of the problems we’ve seen in the area and across the country is the bad reputation computer guys have for being discourteous and hard to get along with. We understand that – we’ve been on the receiving end of that kind of abuse. When our founder, Russ, Sr. opened I-Source Computers, his commitment was to offer folks the solutions and products that he would apply to his own wants and needs. In other words you are going to get treated fairly and in a friendly way. Making a sale is not our first priority. We want to gain a customer. And the only way we can do that is to be your “Buddy in the Computer Business”. New Systems
